I have one through Rapid Cash and Atlas Money. I live in Michigan and I have now had the loan since about the end of December and they just keep taking out the $89 fee each two weeks.
Should I close my account and start a new one?

Absolutely. This company is Illegal and the best way to stop them is close out your account or put it on "deposit only" status.

I am sure you have paid well over the amount borrowed.

I tried calling Rapid Cash from the number listed in the previous post and they told me I had to talk to the Kingston Financial branch. They gave me a number that after ringing for 5 minutes I hung up. The number they gave me is 800-620-8790.

I am off to my bank after work to close my account or make it a deposit status only.

Thank you Cool Abyss

okay what about putting a block on these guys to stop them from [pulling nmoney out of my account. My Bank offers a stop payment service it costs $35 but it will stop any payments from them. Is this a viable solution to get them to stop pulling from my account.

Also just so everyone knows

got my loan from Kingston....was desperate at the time as most of us were. And didnt realise how much of a sham they were. also they were my first dealing in a PDL.

Now Ive paid them for about 1.5x my loan amount and have yet to be able to pay my principle hard to pay it off when theyre jacking money every damn check.

But anyhow I live in Indiana and was wondering if putting a stop payment would work. If it would be worth the 35 and put an end to the excessive account draining

stop payments do not work.at first it might, but then the pdl will change the amount, change co names,or put through a paper check.no the only ways are to put a hard block or close the account, and open a new one.

okay another question (went from guest to registered its magic ) But I called a consolidation company before I found this site. The rate was reasonable and it honestly was cheaper than the long run with the 4 loans I have here in IN. But if I do the consolidation will this stop the companies from drawing or should I just close my account entirely.

The reason I ask is because I have the consolidation company and all of my bill tied to this bank account. I am hoping the consolidation company will cease the other withdraws. I am not trying to dodge my payments at all. just need them controlled now because I have a kid on the way and I am getting nailed by at least 2-300 coming out of every paycheck and none of the loan getting paid down.

The companies I have them with are

Salary Fast
Discount advances
Kingston Financial
Ameriloan

So I guess the heart of my question is after reading all of this forum and such will the consolidation company stop the withdraws or am I still screwed?

Just ignore him and hang up! Tell your brother to hang up! You might have used him as a reference once for something! You do not owe any money to any off shore company! They are illegal and cannot collect anything from you! They will eventually give up and go after an easier mark! JUST HANG UP! TELL YOUR BROTHER TO HANG UP! They will go away! Remember they are on foreign soil and just need to make money to survive! Let them make it from another place!

I am going through the same thing with a foreign guy that keeps calling about this but I can't get a hold of the company. I am almost positive that I paid them back over a year ago. However, this is twice the amount he is asking for and I can't find proof that I paid any of it and can't get a number for them. Should I ignore them??
