Even if you did give wage assignment, you can revoke this at any time, Just type up a letter with al the information on it, loan id, your information on it and then fax it to the company.
You simply need to say that you revoke the voluntary wage assignment from this company on this loan, make sure that your payroll department gets a copy, just incase they chose to attempt wage assignment anyway. goodluck, hope this helps.
If you don't have the fax number, send it certified mail, return reciept requested so that you have proof that they recieved it. On a fax, the fax confirmation should due. goodluck hope you get this cleared up soon.
