Their website is itsmypayday.com. I have read some posts on the forums about this company, but I don't know if anyone has any success with them lately. An agent from my state's DFI sent them a letter a couple of days ago and I sent them an email of my complaint. I also filed with the BBB and FTC as well. No response as of late.

What issues are you having with this loan company? Be aware that all lenders are bound to follow the laws of your state. They need to be a licensed business in your state. I hope that the agent from the DFI is able to resolve your problems with this loan place.

Well, I still owe them some money, but I haven't heard any response to my correspondence yet. I live in WI and they aren't licensed in my state. They have turned it over to a CA, and are asking that I pay more than I need to at this time.

Since it has been turned over to a collection agency, you will want to send them a debt validation letter. Please send it via certified mail with return receipt requested. This way you will have proof that they received it. Also, try to send the loan company a proposal letter with your state laws attached stating that you will pay what you legally owe. It does take time to hear back from your AG or DIF.

I had a loan with them at one time but I never defaulted with them. Are you sending you threatening e-mails or phone calls?

I had a loan out with them several months ago. I live in Ohio, and they were not licensed in my state, either. I had overpaid them. After sending them a letter which included my state laws and pointing out exactly which laws they were violating and letting them know I would be contacting my AG, they contacted me via e-mail and said they would be sending me a refund of the amount overpaid. I dealt directly with the PDL. Good luck.

Is it on their website? If not, you can probably do a search in the forums for it.

I called National Opportunities customer service line and got their fax number. For future reference for anyone, it is (800) 243-7520.

Wow, good news folks! I just got a call from Paul Bishop at National Opportunities and he received my email that I faxed yesterday! Fast!!! Anyway, they would write off my balance. I actually owed them $116.50, but he said they would just write it off and let the BBB know that my account would be closed, and he would contact the CA and update them. I am so happy! Now, just 2 more left! Geneva Roth and National Money Store.

I just checked the status of my account on National Opportunities and found out I am eligible to take out a new loan...um, no! lol It was ironic too that when Paul from National Opportunities called this morning, he concluded by thanking me for my business...what can you say to that? He said he didn't have a form letter to type up, but he would send me a copy of the response to the BBB...interesting to see how that goes. Well, I have their fax and his number, so if I don't get anything in writing, I'll have to bug them again!
