I am in some serious trouble, I should have learned already from previous but unfortuneatly I didn't and now I am in over my head. I was reading the ameriloan is illegal in all states, if they loaned to someone then what are their recourses against me if I can't pay them? I have several other payday loans and want to know if any of them are legal in NM Loanshop/Redhorse,United Cash Loans, Cashnet, Northway Credit, UpFrontPayDAY Loans, Pay-day-loan yes (do they go under another name also, I don't remember them, and their name was not in my account), Financial Processes. I tried Lighthouse for payday loan debt consolidation, but they wanted money up front before they'd help and if I had the money why would I pay them first instead of paying loans? I need help here, my account is overdrawn, and I've been out of work for two weeks, any suggestions?

nuthn, you reside in New Mexico? Am I understanding that correctly? ameriloan is not licensed/legal in any state. United Cash Loans is not licensed/legal in any state. Northway Credit - is this by chance Cash Transfer Centers? And Cashnet - is this CashNetUSA or just Cashnet? We can most likely help you here, nuthn. If you would like, could you just verify your state you reside in. Then list each pdl with the amount borrowed and the amount you have paid so far. We can go further with a little more information. We can also check your state pdl law. So, if you wish, please post the answers to these questions and we can go from there!

I have several pdls and yes I believe Cash net is Cashnet USA.. I am being threatened by a company called Westbury something saying they will settle for $390 it also goes as Red Horse Ventures (something like that) and of course the ones I mentioned above should cover all of them. A lot of the amounts were $200- $300. One was $350. As far as I know.. I had to close my account for check fraud and no longer have records of when the original deposits were made. I just don't want to lose my job because one of these PDL's decides to garnish my wages..

If it is CashNetUsa then I am not sure, but I think from all I am learning on here that they pretty much are legal in states. If I am mistaken on this one then I am sorry as I am fairly new here myself, and someone will correct me (please do if I am wrong)As far as what CashNetUsa will do, I am not quite sure yet, but will find out very soon as I will be defaulting with them on 11-30-07 and they are being very difficult with me at the moment

Nuthn, I see you listed some of the companies and that most were $200 - $300. And as Cannr said, we can most likely help you with your situation. We need you to list each pdl, how much you borrowed from that pdl and the total of how much you have paid to the pdl. For example - $Loans - borrowed 300 - paid 350. Also you live in New Mexico correct? You can get this information by going back through your bank statements if you are not sure of the amount deposited and how much you have paid.

Cash Net USA is legally licensed to lend in NM. They will have to be dealt with. They can be very difficult to set up payment arrangements with, BUT - They are a CFSA member. If you call at least 1 day before your loan is due, you can request an extended payment plan. All CFSA members must offer it. It will allow you to pay the loan off in 4 equal payments. No fees added.
Payday Loan Yes is absolutly illegal. They also go by Cash Net 500 and Global Payday. All the rest of the loan companies I believe are illegal too, but I didn't check and someone may correct me if I missed a legal one.
