Has anyone ever got a refund from Resource Finance Group dba Rightaway Financial Group? I got a pdl from the for $900 in February 2008. My payback was $1775. I filed a complaint with the Maryland Commissioners Office of Regulations and Licenses who told me that pdl's are illegal in Maryland. A letter was sent to the company telling them to refund me $875 of the loan by May 9th. I have not gotten a check yet and don't think I will see one. I was told that if the letter (certified) was ignored, then legal action will be taken against the company. The letter I was told was returned to Maryland with a comment of refusal to pick up. So I guess the Attorney General's office for the state will step in. Also, got a call from AG's office in Colorado who want to get a copy of my contract and the payments I made to this company because they want to check out the lending activities too. So if anyone out there has gotten anything back from this company, please let me know.

I have dealing with this company and I found it to be a nightmare that I would never want to have again. He would call day and night at least 15-30 times a day. My employer had to tell him not to call the job anymore because he was infereing with the work flow. He also called my grandmother by her first name and she is in her eighties. The person who is running this company is incorporated out of Colorado but he claims that he is regulated by the state of South Dakota. My advice is to stay away from this company. He also have given several false addresses.
