I just got a restricted call.
This is what was said....this is Brian Shaprio. I want to let you know so you are not blind sided by the civil suit against you in Ohio. Please call my office at 800-801-0065. Call today and he gave me the case number.
Question....anybody heard of him? What do they collect on? Also how do I find out if there really is a civil suit against me?

no civil suit was done over the phone.what pd's do you have still outstanding?

Edollars/mw marketing--just stated today will mark paid in full but no refund and I still have not gotten confirmation that the collections has stopped.
3bpaydayloans-marked paid in full with refund
Loan Shop-marked paid in full with refund
Magnum Z--marked paid in full no refund
Overpaid on all of them.
Do you know who 800-801-0065 Bryan Shapiro would collect for. When I google the number it actually states is is SRS and Associates collection agencey.

all of these are illegal,so no company collecting for them will play fair,just know that.

Oh believe me I know they will not be fair. I just want to know about who this bryan guy is from 800-801-0065 and if they are filing a civil suit against me and how to find out if they are. Can they file civil suits against credit card balances too?

Civil suits usually go through a process with CC companies. They have to serve you with a summons first before they can even take you to court, then you would respond. I just went through that with a "collector" for a CC. It all has to be done through the court in the county you live not where they are located if it is a CC (I would guess the same goes for PDL'S).So unless you received a hand delivered summons or one in the mail I wouldn't believe him. Hope this helps.

keep track of when they first called you,if they don't serve you within 30 days.that is an FDCPA violation.

How do I finid out who they are collecting for with out having to call them. They have not given me any information.
