Has anyone ever heard of Phoenix debt management aka PDM phone #1-866-504-7548, someone by the name of Ms. Corkill call me today on behalf of InstantCash911.com ofering me a settlement of $680.00 on a $400 loan that I already paid $240.00 on. They said in my contract I agreed to pay them 25% of my paycheck if I default on my loans, I sent instantcash911 a certified letter which they recieved and I have the reciept to prove it telling them I revoke all debts from my account and I revoke them from contacting me or my employer as well as revoking any voluntary wage assignment. I called the number back and they dont answer the phone stating the companies name, they hung up the phone the first three times, then the fourth time they waited until I said hello,then I asked for the name on the company once the person told me, she asked why did I need to know the name of the company. It sounds like a party line in the back ground are these people for real. Even if I sent the certified letter what other step do I need to take to prevent them from contacting my employer.

The best thing to do is give your employer a copy of the letter you sent revoking the wage assignments etc. Just tell your employer that there was fraudulant activity on your account.

Kashzan, correct me if im wrong, but dont they have to get a court order to garnish my wages? or is the contract I sign valid even though their breaking the laws in Florida

Yes, no one can garnish your wages without a court order. however what the PDLs use is a wage assugnment. This is strictly voluntary and can be revoked at any time. If a pdl is threating garnishment it can not be done

Kashzan do I send Pheonix debt management the same letter I sent to Instantcash911.com revoking their rights or do I need another letter since there a debt management company who claimed to have had my account turned over to them.

No I never gave them any bank info, or wage assignments, I never heard of them until today, but they did ask my co-worker what department we were in and he told them, but he just gave them a general area where we work

Wow...sounds like a bunch of bitter debtors posting their excuses online to make each other feel better about stealing money.

p.s.-they can garnish your wages depending on the state.

I'm sorry, though..you are wrong. An illegal company will never be able to get a court ordered judgement.

I have no idea who this company is and when i went to take money out of my account I found out that I was overdrafted by 120.00 and i couldn't figure out why.I called my bank and they gave me this number so i called it everytime I called it was busy and one time it said this number was no longer in service. I want the money plus the overdraft fees put back into my account or I am going to take serious action against this kind of stuff.

I also have a loan with this company. Does anybody have a copy of the letter that i can send to then to revoke wage assignment. I am not sure if i signed one of those, but they called and asked to speak to somebody in HR. when i asked them why, they wouldnt tell me. Today was my first time actually talking to one of them (collectors) and she was very rude. telling me i had until tomorrow at 3 or they would take action.
