Today Sonic called and left a message at my phone number. A women called by Karina giving me and extension till 7/20. I told her I still could not pay. She said since they have received the revoke wage letter they WOULD NOT CALL my employer. She
said she would have to send me to telecheck and I could never write a check again. Strange she was nice. But I know for sure someone in collections is going to call. I ask for an address again, she said they only take payments via ach or money gram. She could not give me the address. This company is really strange. I guess they will go for a ride when I tell them if they are going to sue to make sure they send a employee from Malta, Ireland. And since the flight is so long, they need to come a couple of days in advance and make those arrangements for hotel stay, etc. I cannot wait. Thank you forum for your support.

They are so full of it! Being reported to telecheck or Teletrack only means you can't take out a PDL again! And what a big loss THAT would be, NOT!! You can still write a check, they are clueless!

Thanks, ks. I was reading this thinking "what? can they do that?" regarding check writing priveledges. Ummm....they can report me to all the pdl's they want to. Please do! But I was scared for a second regarding writing checks for REAL life - not pdl life! LOL!

So what if you can't write a check, get a debit card for your account, that is the newest thing any way. I don't think they can do this anyway.

Well, because some places don't take pmt over the phone, etc. Like my garbage bill, my water bill, a couple others. I know if you can't write a check, you can always get money orders, but that's an added expense. I was just making sure there's not a "black mark" on me in the "check world" so that I can continue to write a check from my account to pay my bills that don't accept pmt over the phone or on line.

Places like the trash company, or other utilities, car payments, or any other bill you might write a check for and mail off won't be affected in any way. However, places like gas stations or grocery or other retail stores that take checks and run it through a check system before accepting it as payment might actually be affected. (who knows) However, as someone pointed out...you could always just use your debit card to pay at those places.

Thanks, guest! That does make sense. If you're paying a bill - they just cash it. If you go into a store, they "run it through". I see. And, you're right. In that case, I can always just use my debit card. At least you put my mind at ease about writing a check to pay bills! Thank you!

Sonic is not going to report you to telecheck. I defaulted with one of their dba's and I can still write checks anywhere. They might report you to Teletrack which is only used by payday loans and rent-to-own places, as far as I know. Don't let them make you think you will never be able to write checks again because they are full of it.

Thanks for your reply forum. I havent heard from Sonic again but they will call on Monday for sure because they gave me another extension(how nice)
That PIF approach I have tried with three of my payday loans. Gave them the breakdown that in Florida roller overs are not allowed and the fee they are charging is not to the state guidelines. They dont care, all they want it their money. I total the amount of fees since I have been paying them for a year now, they didnt take the cake. The most they worked out was, balance / by two payments. I can no longer afford that. They all said the same thing send you collections, call payroll and torture my manager..blah..blah...blah. I got a quote from T & C, very nice and helpful employees. They do consolidate payday loans and interest fee my car payment, everything paid in 36 months. The money I have been using to pay these folks on roller fees I can use it and start the program. It's great that some in the forum are able to do the PIF, but this is like a part time job. The leave you on hold forever and sometimes it's very difficult to discuss personal things in a cubical. Especially when you want to reply to the payday loan as nasty they can be. Do these companies send these employees to treat the customer as nasty? Come on. Please.. give a person
a break. I even told one of these payday loans, MTE to be exact, I hope that you never have a credit problem in you life and if you do, someone would treat you the same you have treated me. This forum has taught me alot. There are great suggestions and everone is to help someone.

lpatch, welcome to the world of MTE! They are my nightmare! So are you going with T&C, or just considering it? If you're going with them, won't they deal with the idiot pdl's for you?

lpacheco, it IS hard work to get all this stuff taken care of. It consumed me for a couple weeks at least. Can I give you one tip, don't even bother calling these places. Communicate with them by email. I keep a folder on my computer with letters I have sent and received from these places and every time I hear from them I send them another email. That will cut down on some of the time you spend waiting on hold. Anyway, I don't think any of these places can be trusted to talk to on the phone and you need to have everything in writing.

T & C is a very good company and the employees are SO nice. Many here have had success with them. They are taking good care of my neighbor who put her credit cards with them. They got her interest cut down tremendously.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do and please let us know how things go. We are all here for you and rooting for you!

hey cannr, they faxed me the paperwork just today the payments are not much and she said that they do work with them because they have alot of customers already on the program. She said that it could take up to 3 months to shut them up because these people get paid to do this. The program seems good and very safe and yes I will join them the next time I get paid. I need to sleep. She did say it's difficult with Sonic so I might not consider even putting them on the plan if they dont work out. I dont even have an address for them. Help...i have six address..are any of them real. How do internet payday loans work? they all seem so nice and then you default and the devil jumps in their body to deal with us. Nice

Hello sassnlucy, thanks for your reply - kind words and thanks for your suggestions. One question though, how can I contact the other payday loans if i dont have an email address for them? for example, its my payday and apollo and others. One of the requirements joinin the TC program is to provide them address so the contact them in writing. Does anyone have a loan with Cash Today Limited? where are they located? have you loan with them? So did you pay your payday loans or use the PIF letters?

Please explain if you can a short version of getting a PIF, like you stated on your email. That really sounds great. Did they bug the hell out of you at work and your Manager. I send a wage assignment form to Sonic and that did not work, they called my payroll dept. They dont grant it unless a court order I was lucky but many of my coworkers they have gotten it really hard from some of them. Then end up calling me because I am a supervisor or the team. I tell them its illegal them saying what they say and did they forgot about the privacy law. For God's sake. and then I hang up but my boss got a couple of calls and told them to call me because that is my problem and she aint paying them for me Smile

lpatch, list out the pdl's you need info on. I know sassnlucy gave you Cash Today - and it's correct info. Is one of the ones you said It's My Pay Day or something? List them out and I'll see which ones I have (Lord knows it's enough) and others will also see and they'll give you contact info if they have it. Some of the pdl's are all actually one company just using different names. We will know what info to give you if you list them for us. And I do believe Sonic is Cash Today and many other names. Please list them and we'll get the info. And I'm glad you're going with T&C. It's about a damn full time job fighting these things on your own! LOL! But we'll give you all the info that we can!
