Revoking ACH Authorization

First I would like to say I am glad I found this site! I feel so much better knowing I am not alone. I have a question I hope someone can answer. If I send ACH revocation letters will the PDL companies abide by them? And if not what do I do then?

Jan, First of all, we are happy you found us too. Welcome to the fourm. As for your questions...No, most of the time, the pdls will not abide by an ACH revocation letter. You do need to do the letters for documentation. The only real way to stop the pdl's from debiting your account is to close it or place a hard debit block on it. Please read this about closing your account...there is really good information in it...
