I recieved a voicemail on my phone and it stated that I have a case number and they need to serve me with papers and left my address and all and a phone number to call them back? Does this sound right? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!

HUM, Usually when people serve you papers they dont call and tell you. It is some sort of bs scare tactic from a collector. Dont fall for it.

Sounds like a total scare tactic to me! PDL's will say just about anything if they think they can keep getting $$$ from you....

I found the number they left another message 866-816-3176? Any information on this number. They did not give any information except a number and that they were going to file papers.

I "googled" the phone #, and apparently it's for some "bad loan buyer" collection company called Creditors Exchange? On various forums that came up in google there were lots of complaints about these people. You might want to "google" the number yourself and see if there's anything that sounds familiar to you about this company...
