Original loan received from PDL was $500. Interest would cap at 47.50 per my state law, brinign total amount due to 547.50. PDL is willing to apply the $450 I have already paid and wants an additional $200 to settle. Should I take it? STill comes in at 136% interest, total.

Was this one of the illegal internet ones? If so I'd offer to pay them $50, their principle is now paid.

If I am following right you paid 450 already and they offered a settlement of 200 which would bring your total to 650 on a 500 loan? Does not sound like a settlement to me either.
