I just wanted to share with everyone here that I just settled my account with Plain Green Loans. I took out an 800$ payday loan with them, paid it back in full (which cost me just over 2000), then took out a 900$ loan as well. After reading the information on this site I took a stance that i was NOT paying this payday back. I had already given them over 2000. So I used the "How to deal with illegal payday loans" info you have posted in your signatures. It took a little haggling, but the 900 Dollar loan I took out after the 800 Dollar one is now paid in full!!! I didn't push for a refund because I didn't want to escalate my account any further than i had to. So i just took the 900$ and ran. Better than nothing right??? thank you all so much, you just saved me 900$!!!

Pennsylvania Department of Banking is taking a hard stance against lenders, contacting them has proven to be very successful against companies like cashcure and cash jar. I learned recently that they are preparing to issue an order against cash jar that will bring some refunds to light with Pennsylvania residents that overpaid the principal.
