Hello,

Could someone PM with the companies that offer payday loan consolidation? I called T&C today. Has anyone had experience with them?

Hi, there are a few companies that deal with payday loans but not many. What state do you live in? Are these internet loans or storefront loans? How much did you borrow and what have you paid back so far? If you can answer these questions we may be able to help you. Many people here have used T & C and I am sure someone will be along soon and share their experience with you.

I have been with T&C for approx. two weeks and things are going well. I had four payday loans along with credit cards and a personal loan. They immediately sent out letters to the legitimate companies explaining the consolidation and offered them a monthly payment. The PDL's do not get notified they just are sent payments and I guess the point is they will say they won't take payments but once they start cashing them its as if they have accepted the re-payment plan. T&C did call one PDL that was giving me a hard time, Cash Central and they did come to an agreement as to a monthly payment. Cash Central will no longer bother me as long as they get that payment from T&C monthly.

I am expecting the phone to start ringing soon though. I defaulted with CashNetUSA and Check N GO online on Friday. T&C said to refer the calls to them, I know easier said than done but they will deal with them if I request that they call them.

For the short period that I have been with T&C I would
say that the customer service has been great. Although at times you are on hold for long periods trying to get a rep. I'm not sorry I began the program with them.

Jazzy-thanks for the info. I talked to them earlier today, and it seemd legit. My fear is that they are all coming due this weekend, and I have to pay my car note and rent, before my car is repossesed. They told me to close my bank account, and get the the stuff ASAP. I'm going to go to my bank tomorrow and see make sure they will be no repurcussions with doing that.

T_Holland, I have been working with a consolidation company too. I was overwhelmed with the process of default and found comfort in the consolidation process. Some folks on here can give you the same advice however... without paying someone else. It's up to you completely though. Definitely close your bank account and open another with a different bank. I tried staying with my employer's credit union even after we closed my old account and opened a new. Postings were still coming through and some clerks were not aware of my agreement with the credit union manager and funds were being deducted from my account that couldnt be reversed. Just close it down completely and find a new bank. Good luck!! You can do this.
