I think that most of us have closed our accounts and dealt with the phone calls. You can try and send a cease and desisit letter. some will abide by it and some wont.I saw on your other thread that you wanted to consolidate. If you have overpaid some of your loans why would you want to pay more.

I have tried to e-mail 2 of the companies that I have PDL's with and they both came back as "returned mail". I went back to my contacts list and they were auto added from e-mails that I had received from them regarding my original loan. Isn't that convenient?????? I've tried calling 2 of the numbers that I have and one is not working and the other just gives you the option of leaving a message and a representative will get back to you as soon as possible. Yea right!!! I guess I'll just wait to hear from them. I've just recently closed out my checking account and I'm sure it won't be long before I hear from them.

as soon as i closed my account the phone calls started. They are jerks but I continue to stand my ground with them. I have filed complaints on them and requested a refund so we will see what happens.

harqispa - I hope you are right. I would love to see all of these PDL companies gone for good!!!! As we are seeing (reading) on this forum, there are sooooo many people who have fallen into their evil traps.
I'll tell you, I feel soooo much better after being on this website and knowing that others have gone through it, recovered and gone on with their lives. You really feel like you are alone and it's just nice to know that you're not.

Oh! Duh! Good catch, roxy! tina, if you are having a problem reaching a couple of plds, just post who they are and someone will most likely have a working phone number or working email for them.

My best advice would be to leave messages on the numbers where people issue new loans to victims/er, customers--because they will most definately get in contact with you at that point, right?
