Hi Kat! SSM Group is illegal and unlicensed! They are in Nevis, West Indies. You need to call the number I PM to you and talk to them. Don't let them scare you by saying that all you paid was finance charges and that you still owe. They will also tell you that you will forwarded to a collection agency. They can not legally collect anything from you. You paid what you borrowed and that's it. Call your bank. Call SSM. Trust me! I just won my case with them and my bank is going after them for the overpayment and overdraft fees they caused me.

I called them and told them that I found out they were illegal and unlicensed. They in turn told me that they were legal and that when I signed the agreement, I agreed to their laws. That's bull! You are only bound by your laws. What state are you in? I also called my bank and talked to them. They are actually going after them for the overpayment and overdraft fees. I was persistant with SSM and called alot and left lots of messages. I will look and see if I can find their address. I know they are in the West Indies.

Ok.........here's the address I got.
Keep in mind, the loan is from SSM Group, LLC.
If you call the number I gave you, it will say OSL Marketing! Don't worry, it's all the same.
OSL marketing
PO Box 636
Charlestown, Nevis
West Indies
OSL is the service center for CMG Group, LLC
affiliated with SSM Group, LLC.
The whole thing sounds confusing but it's all the same.

Ok........make sure you call SSM or OSL or whatever they are calling themselves. Here are the laws for Washington DC.
The District of Columbia Payday Loan Laws have authorized payday loans, and payday lenders are generally not subject to the usury laws here, as any interest charges assessed, are actually known as "fees".
However, because DC has DC payday loans are regulated in the district, in the following areas, known as payday advance, wage buying and salary buying. The broader preemption is available only for federally-regulated depository institutions, limiting prepayment penalties to enforce these laws to address finance company abuses. The particular statute is 26-301 et seq.
The minimum face amount of a check held for deferred deposit must amount to no less than $50. The aggregate face amount of checks being held for deferred deposit must not exceed $1,000 per customer. District of Columbia payday lending businesses may charge an additional fee for verification, handling, and documentation processing, totaling no more than $5 on a personal check, with a face amount of up to $250; no more than $10 on a personal check with a face amount of $250.01 to $500; no more than $15 on a personal check with a face amount of $500.01 to $750; and no more than $20 on a personal check with a face amount of $750.01 to $1,000.
The District of Columbia payday lending industry is also authorized single payment loans based on check-holding. Finally, any state industry must adhere to the rate ceiling, but as in some other states, nationally chartered banks are permitted to "export" rates from their home states. By acting as the "agent" of a bank based in a deregulated state, a payday lender in the District of Columbia may charge their desired fees.
I hope this helps you out a little. Make sure you contact your bank and the loan companies though.

Don't let them fool you. The gang at OSL have never even been to Nevis. Their owner (Rick Moseley) just bought an offshore corporation online to hide behind. The "real" address is 11 East Gregory, Suite 200, Kansas City, MO 64114. (I put real in quotes since that's probably a fake address, too. But they're definitely one of the Kansas City-area loansharks the Missouri and Kansas authorities choose to ignore.)
