I had a loan a long time ago with World Wide Cash and now they are harassing me. For one, I live in NORTH CAROLINA and they are prohibited here. My loan was for $300.00 and I have paid them like $50.00 and now they say that I still owe them like $376.00. I just don't get where they are coming from on that. If anyone can help me, PLEASE DO..Thanks...

Hi natdust. I love your avatar. Have they been calling you or sending you letters/emails?

Most of us have paid at least what we borrowed on a ipdl even if it turned out to be prohibited in our state. Maybe if you offer to make arrangements on the $250. and send them a copy of your state laws...that might get them to calm down. You also could file a complaint with your state attorney...they may help you to mediate closure with the loan.

I have paid and paid several companies. I kinda know how they work. This particular company will not accept the payment of $250.00 and they keep adding $90.00 every 2 weeks, so I will never get them paid like that...

Eek! They sound horrible! They don't still have access to your checking account do they? I know that for me, once I went into default, the ipdls stopped adding interest, which really helped in getting them paid off. If they are still trying to get into your account, and are not able to, are they adding nsf fees or anything? (hope that made sense...it's a little run-on)
