I just got a call from 500 Fast Cash saying that I took a loan out and I owe $400. I did take loan out with United cash loans/MTE Financial for $300. I found this site and then I closed my account and started the road to recovery from PDL hell!!

I sent BBB a complaint and I just got an email this morning stating that they forwarded it to MTE and I can check the status online.

I told the chick from 500 Fast cash that I will not discuss this on the phone and only correspond via email or us mail. She said they don't do that and whatever and she wanted my bank phone number so we could confirm the deposit or whatever. She called me at work and I hung up on her.

Now...what do I do??? I haven't paid MTE anything and I do NOT want them harassing me at work. They sent me this "

Help guys!!

Lucy, please be sure you pay them quickly becuase you do not want to ruin your chance of getting another short term loan....are they on medication, just palin stupid or both... Seriously, When they call tell them you are not there and then respond to them in writing. There is not alot you can do short of telling them you no longer work there. I know I take a lot of messages for myself. I write down the date, time, who called and what was said and then fire off an e-mail with this info reiterating I will not accept phone calls. It has worked a little but MTE is evil and ugly and makes up the rules as they go along.

Hi Lucylu. So you didn't actually take a loan out with 500fastcash, but with Unitedcashloans, correct? I actually got the exact same form letter email from Unitedcashloans. I had a loan with both 500 and UCL. My best guess is that since they are from the same parent company that they must have gotten your information mixed up. This could be good for you! Maybe you should call back and speak with a manager to let them know that you don't have a loan with them. I wouldn't tell them that you have one with ucl...just that you don't have one with them.

Wait! I missed that part! Well, I know you want another pdl very badly, so I guess the only thing to do is follow their advice and pay quickly.
Roxy, I agree. They must be on some kind of strong meds!

I have one with United Cash loans..aka MTE Financial. I told the chick that I don't have one with 500 Fast cash and she said your email is ____ and I said yes. She said that I would have signed the documents and then they would've deposited the money..

So I am just going to keep the letter in my MTE Financial/UCL folder in my email.. They have until 10-23 to respond to the BBB..

Thanks guys~

Well unless your billfold is overflowing with money and you justwant to freely give it away (I always take donations), I would wait for the BBB response. If they cannot even keep straight what company they are with....well they are true winners. I have a defaulted loan with 500fast cash. I cannot wait till they start this with me!

Hold on! 500FastCash, United Cash Loans, etc.... All d/b/a's of MTE Financial. Doesn't really matter a flying crap which name they are using. They are trying to confuse you (on purpose). They are MTE. And, no, MTE is not "off shores". MTE is located in Oklahoma. MTE is not licensed/legal. MTE is evil. They will claim that YOU are confused, lucy. You are not. They do this on purpose. Do not respond to them. They will respond to the BBB eventually. And they will claim that "lucy is confused". I swear to God, they will. I have many responses from MTE stating how "confused" I am. Please do not speak with them via telephone. MTE will, I repeat, will communicate via email. I can swear to this fact. You do not have to speak with the via telephone. Whatever you have to do to not talk directly to them, do it. Lie, whatever. Do not talk to them. They are sneaky, lying, scum. They will straight up lie to the BBB. They will not respond to your state AG. They are not licensed to lend anywhere in the United States. Let them send you all the emails they want to. Keep them. Save them. But watch these creeps. They will try to pull a fast one on you the first chance they get. Wait it out until they respond to the BBB to see what they have to say. Do not respond to their "time frame" emails. (Which are all form emails that they send to everyone.) Lord, I've got a computer full of the same friggin emails from them from all their d/b/a's. lucy, don't respond yet. And don't take their calls. Okay? Wait to see what lies they have for the BBB. Then post and we can take it from there.
