Ok so I know yesterday I asked about doing this myself, but after another talk with my husband last night, we have decided to go with T & C. We figure it would look better if we are making an effort rather than doing one at a time and leaving some without anything during that process.
I talked to T & C this morning again to clear up some questions. The gal was so nice and this is what she said about this site: "There is a web-site called "debtconsolidationcare" that folks who use us go on there all the time and chat about their experiences with us and talk about what we have done for people. If you are worried and scared this website and read all the information about us, hopefully that will put your mind at ease!"
I thought that was great! She told me to stay calm and not to worry, they would get it taken care of. So, I'm going to try to finish my paperwork, send them the money next Friday and see what happens.
Happy Weekend, Reny!

Question - Does T & C only consolidate payday loans, or will they consolidate other types of unsecured debt like credit cards/installment loans/other personal loans or bills?

They handle a lot of different types of accounts. I'm not sure if they handle credit cards that are in good standing or installment loans. You would probably have to call them up and ask them. Since they are a consolidation company, you are paying 100% of your balance. I recommend if its only credit cards is to start a repayment yourself. T&C does charge a fee for their services and you can save some money and get out of debt quicker. I guess it depends if they can get your interest rate reduced. I've used them close to a year now for storefront payday loans and accounts in collections.
