East Side Lenders is responding to your correspondence regarding the above-captioned account.
East Side Lenders, which is located in Delaware, is licensed by the State of Delaware to make small loans. All such loans are approved and funded in Delaware, with repayment to be made in Delaware. The East Side Lenders loan agreement and website contain all disclosures required by Delaware and federal law and make it clear that all transactions are governed by Delaware law. On the advice of counsel, East Side Lenders maintains that the choice of Delaware law as controlling in the loan documents would be upheld, as all of the significant contacts in the loan transaction occur in Delaware. The loan agreement is legal and enforceable. In responding to your correspondence, East Side Lenders notes and reserves all available legal and equitable objections to the points you have raised.
East Side Lenders provided this service as a convenience to you. We still consider your loan to be outstanding and are prepared to go to arbitration as provided for in the Loan Agreement between us. As an alternative, if you are experiencing financial hardship, we will be happy to speak to you about payment arrangements through which you can successfully meet your payment obligations. East Side Lenders will consider doing so because of our continuing commitment to servicing our customers and not because of a legal obligation to do so.
Should you have any further questions regarding this matter, if you wish to speak about payment arrangements, please contact us at (800) 689-5603.
Sincerely,
Customer Service

well i now record all of my phone calls from these companies so i got her to admit that they did receive my c and d letter my leeter letting them know i filed complaints with the tenn ag office and the delaware bbb and the part about contacting me she then told me it dosnt matter if eastside is licensed . then i asked her if she would like to be email copies of the law in the state of tennessee she said no it doesnt matter they are in del. and thats the laws they follow she denied eastside is a dba company (doing buisness as) and that they are licensed so then she made threats of criminal prosucution even thought they cant do that and thrn she said i should cancle my complaint with the del bbb because if i procedde and after the bb rules in eastsides favor i will have to pay court cost and go to jail for 90 days because what i did was fraud
all a load of bs according to the bbb in del they have not yet responded to the complaint my friend who is a paprlegal said this is a last ditch effort on eastides behalf to get me to settle before they have to answer to the del. bbb
last week i got a pif notice from one step cash and have not heard anything from any of the other companies Mte told the BBB that i wasnt a customer and they considered the matter closed so i sent the bbb a copy of the papework they email me where it has my account number and the part saying met is a dba for paycheck today . they have untill april 24th to get back to the bbb
and ameriloan said onece the receive a response to the info the sent the bbb they will either give me a pif letter of make a settlement offer to the bbb.

this is steve
ok check this out i got this letter on april 2nd from one step cash
Mr. XXXXXX,
I find it hard to believe that the state of Tennessee has taken the time to look through each and every state’s business records to see whether or not OneStep Cash is licensed. In addition, much like most other businesses, OneStep Cash is a dba (doing business as) name and the corporate name is something completely different.
We make it a policy not to our provide business licenses to customers who request it. Since you have paid us in good standing and we are at an impasse, we are marking this loan paid in full. Just to let you know, however, we are marking you as a “do not lend” customer in a database so other lenders that are licensed such as we are are aware of the circumstances of this transaction.
Sincerely,
OneStep Cash
Customer Care

steve, I got the same exact thing from Eastside Lenders. Word for word. Same old thing they hand everyone they deal with. Arbitration, legal action, blah, blah, blah. I emailed and told them I'm ready to go to arbitration, bring it on. I heard nothing for quite some time. Then received another letter from them stating legal action. Again, I emailed them and said bring it on. I heard nothing from them for awhile. Soon you will begin hearing from some place called Centrinex (something like that). They will email you/contact you on "behalf" of Eastside Lenders and try to make a deal with you. It's STILL Eastside Lenders, so don't let them throw you off. I emailed them repeatedly telling them to provide me with the actual name and license number they are operating under. Never heard from them again.
