Good Morning All!

I'm soo happy I've stumbled upon this site. I'm soliciting some help in determine which of my online payday loans are illegal. I've already closed my account with BofA (which was easier than I thought) since they have that stupid "30 day rule". The manager was very nice and put my account on a "Balance Hold" So if you have an account with B of A and need to close it don't call customer service! They are clueless.

But I' learning from my mistake about these loans (need the cash to pay for some hefty funeral expenes) and now want to put a stop to it! I've sent C&D letters to all of them. What's my next step?

I have the following online payday loans

Discountadvances - $240.00 (have paid $600 in fees)
Paycheck today - 780 (have paid $180 so far). I renewed this one)
Star Advance - 294.00(renewal) paid $120.00 in fees
Wages Fastt - 276.00 - haven't paid yet
Inegrity Advance - $520.00 (renewed)
Loan Point USA- $390.0 (have paid $270.00 in interest)
Ace Cash Services - $390.00 (haven't paid yet)
Nationwide $460.00 (have paid $670.00 in fees)
Payday one - $533.00 (renewed this one) have paid $260.00 in fees)
United Cash - $520.00 (haven't paid yet)
Instant Cash Loans Till Payday $390.00 (have paid $725.00 in fees)

I reside in tennessee. Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi Natasha, you can check the licensing status of these lenders in your state in the following link.

However, TN allows the internet pdl lenders to lend to TN residents as long as they are licensed in any state of USA. I'm hoping someone with more knowledge would address this thread soon.
