Has anyone seen the new Western Sky TV commercial? The spokesperson states that it is now the "problem solver loan" to "help you get off the payday loan treadmill". At least the one in Washington State does. You can get up to $10,000.00 to end the problems. This makes me laugh as they are one of the problems in this arena.

Trust me, your problems would only be beginning....You can get up to $10,000 but be forced to pay $20,000 back.

Yes, the new commercial makes me want to throw up every time I see it. Knowing that there are desperate people like we were at the time that will fall victim.
I am trying to figure out a way to complain to the station that is allowing them to air..

They would have to be able to see it first. The last time I saw the commercial I had a hard time reading the fine print due to the outfit the spokesperson was in. I think that they do this as a tactic to get you to the website. If you are desperate to visit the website you can convince yourself easily to take the loan.
If you make the call then you already have the mindset to take the loan if you are in need of money. From what I have heard the sales people are very good. I took mine online which was too easy. Having someone talk you into taking money if you are desperate would also be too easy.
The only people who would not fall for this are the ones who don't feel that they really need it but are curious about it.

The people on the phone will actually essentially coerce you into taking out the loan. I've tested them myself as well as heard stories of them saying things like "You better take this loan out and pay off the lenders or you can end up in jail" (as a least half of people calling for the loan owe other payday loans) or "Don't worry you only owe the amount you borrow" or "Theres no interest" etc... they are pieces of trash.

Commercial played in Illinois, which is funny since Western Sky just got their @$$ handed to them in court regarding venue in a class action case.

that piece of garbage add plays on trutv on all the time.disgusting.gives me a real bad taste in my mouth regarding"native americans".
Someone in these tribes is getting rich, under the table, at the expense of the rest of the people living on the reservation. Too bad you don't see or hear of people finding out who they are and trying to get them to admit to the fraud they play a part of, even if they only take down Western Sky and Cash Call that is a huge piece of the puzzle and may lead to consistent guidelines across the board for illegal lending. This is seriously the moral equivalent of OJ Simpson auctioning off the murder weapon he used to kill two people - having some warped sense he could never be held accountable for the crime.
Say 'NO NO' to such ads. They will simply increase your debt burden. Payday loan debt consolidation would be a better option for you to consolidate your loan. But get advise from a lawyer before you apply for one. There are some firms that initially communicate for free, like myquicklawyers. They are supposed to pair you up with a lawyer.

Payday loan debt consolidation is also a very bad idea. You would be wasting a ton of money for someting that you could handle yourself.
