i have a payday loan in Washington state, but am unable to pay it it full. Can I set up a payment plan and can they legally contact my references?

Welcome to the Community beck  Here is a link for Washington State and pay day loan info at http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/state_detail.cfm?id=WA is this an internet or store front loan, and how much was it for, and how much has been paid? This link gives you some info on the. If it is a store front loan, sometimes they will make arrangements with you if you tell them you need help. I believe they can contact the references, but not give them personal info..Keep us posted, and ask questions, we ar here to help..KAren

Who are the lenders? You must be sure that the companies you are dealing with are legit and following the laws. Revise the state laws and know the status of your account before making the payment arrangement.
