I checked my online account for Paycheck Today (whom I have overpaid) and under status, it says "Bureau" Does this mean they reported to my credit? Has anyone else had this?

My account was listed as "bureau" as well when I defaulted and they sent my account to ARM. It has NOT appeared on my credit report.

I really doubt it means they reported you to the credit bureau. As ald stated (hey, ald!), they probably turned you over to collections. Which is always fun. Once contacted by the collection agency, please be sure to throw a nice debt validation letter at them.

I noticed my Paycheck Today account said Bureau right after I reported them to the BBB. They will sell your account to a Collection Agency...mine has been sold and transferred. I have sent a letter each time stating that Paycheck Today is illegal in California and I haven't heard anything in a long time. Also, Paycheck Today is one of MTE's dba though they will swear that they are not.
