Hey, Peeps:
Ever since my letter and the 5,000 emails I sent to MTE and their dba's on an almost daily basis (thanks to Cannr's idea,) I received 2 phone calls at work - dealt with them by socking them with the truth of the matter (you're ILLEGAL, what part of that don't you understand?) then I asked the switchboard not to put any more calls through to me at work.
That must have been over two months ago and I haven't heard a SOUND since! Not at work, not at home...not even on my cell phone. Has anyone gone longer without these creeps (UnitedCashLoans and USFashCash) rearing their ugly heads again?

They slide out from underneath their rocks from time to time....one day I will get millions of calls, and then hear nothing for a week.

I am sure that they are not finished with you yet. It seems to be their MO to drive you nuts, vanish for a while and then pop up again with a vengence. Be prepared as I am sure you . I assume that you have closed your accounts so they can not continue to take money. I hope you did. Just know that they are operating illegally.

I agree. I think they just wait to play some kind of mind-game with you and then they pop up. I think they plan it because they all seem to call on the same day. But, enjoy the peace and then sock it to them again when and if they ever make contact. (Hopefully they will all just fall off the face of the earth.)
Just be sure that you revoked all wage assignments, etc. because they have tried to sneak in that way with some others.

Eleroo, where did you hear that MTE tries to pull wage assignments? There is no clause in their contracts at all about wage assignments.
Anyway, to the OP, I have two loans that I overpaid with MTE. I revoked everything, and closed my account at the end of July. I haven't heard a word since. I'm sure they tried to hit my closed account, but who knows for sure. Anyway, enjoy the quiet. And file those complaints.

I haven't heard from them since they sent their "paper" check through and took money. I am just glad they are gone. From what I have read though, they pop up once in a while for others, then go away again. Just don't let them get to you if they show back up.

Please help. I am being harassed daily from these pay day loan companies. I made the required payments
and paid some interest however they continued to draw from my account. Since then I have closed the account.
How much money do these pay day companies have to take before I am in the poor house. Please help me.

Hey, shey! What's up, my friend! First of all, MTE does not do wage assignments - just to clarify one of the above posts. They don't. Second, I just had USFastCash (the dingbats that wouldn't accept my emails any longer!) send me an email after, oh, about 3 months (?), stating it's a "final collection notice". Oh. Okay. And, get this, Shey, they told me NOT to respond to their email. LOL! So, they're still there. They've been contacted by my state AG twice and won't respond to them. Go figure. But they sent me that email. Oh. But I'm not supposed to respond to it. What the hell ever. So, do not be surprised to get something a few months down the road saying "You owe us one million dollars for our illegal loan." Morons.
