Does anyone know if they harass you over the phone if the loan goes unpaid?
I read a thread the other day and was informed that they are located in Costa Rica, and I know the overseas PDLs tend to be the worst when it comes to harassment.
Just curious as to any experiences with them.

Hi Jen
I defaulted with them about 4 months ago, and have not heard a word from them. I changed jobs so it may be that they just have my old job phone #. They have not called on my cell,or at my house They did e mail me, and i gave them the riot act about not being licensed etc. That was the end of it
THey are located in Panama and costa rica? I believe i saw both countries listed somewhere. I have to think that they know they are not legal and really can not do to much.I will keep you up dated if I hear anything else from them

Just make sure that you pay off the loan principal. They are legally not permitted to charge any fees on your account since they are not legit in US. If they harass you on the phone, report them to your state attorney general and the better business bureau.

The overseas ones are usually the nastiest ones because they know they are totally illegal and have no legal recourse to get "their" money. However, if they haven't harrassed kash in 4 months, that's a good sign. But they're probably calling her old job! LOL!  Wait until they email you. If they call, try not to take the call. If you do get stuck with them on the phone, just tell them you are only to be contacted via email or USPS and hang up.
