Has anyone gotten a refund but it is marked as US Treasury 220??

If the deposit is for something like $300 or $600, I'd say it's more than likely your rebate, as well. (but if you're not sure, please double-check)

Not a rebate check they don't have this account info....I thought maybe it was from one of the PDL'S that owes a refund but that would be misrepresentation if they labeled it US Treasury wouldn't it?? I contacted the bank to see if they can track down where it originated from.

that being the case,yes when your bank finds out
where it came from have them return it asap.

oh and yes,that is misrepresentation.

US Treasury 220 is what the Federal Government deposits under. No pdl could use that to deposit.

It could be the rebate, or a tax refund, or some other government payment.

Lisa~ US Treasury 220 IS your rebate. I work at a bank and EVERY rebate came in that way. Now you say that it cant be because they dont have that account number? Did you close your old one and open your new one at the same bank??

You're right it is the rebate, I used that account last year for refund. I owed so they took it out of my rebate and gave me the rest! That makes me feel better knowing. Nethier ameriloan or NLS took anything from that account since i sent them the letter revoking them from debits which is also good!

Finally!!!! I couldn't even pay the IRS because of these PDL'S that I waaaay overpaid!!!!!! I am starting to feel a little better. I'm sure they are not all gone but at least I can breathe for now thanks to all of you here and you great advice and knowledge! Have a happy & safe long weekend!!!
