Well guys:
One call from each at work during which I "told them about themselves" and not a SINGLE word since. Hhhmmmm..... could it have been this easy? 
They can no longer debit my account, switchboard won't put calls through and I won't answer my home phone when its a "private" call. Of course, not a word in writing via USPS either.
Crossing my fingers.....

Well, Hmmmmm, same thing happened to me. Quiet for a few months, and then yesterday, I got a letter from some collection agency. NPA was the agency, Dan Brown(aren't they all named Dan Brown) was the guy who wanted me to settle for twice the loan amount. I sent copies of all my paperwork to them. I will do nothing else

It's probably an illegal collection agency Kash. I wouldn't worry about it. If they are legal, then they would have to validate the debt, which obviously won't happen.
I haven't heard a peep from Oneclick or United Cash loans either, and the NYS AG is supposed to be working on this, but I haven't heard anything back from them yet either.

Nothing like wanting you to settle for more than you owe. Hey let's offer a settlement for $300 when I owe $150 maybe then I will actually get the $150!  What a joke!

Hey Jen, you are right.I am sure it is illegal.
Any way, I am not too worried about it. I will send them copies of my letters and e mails.That is all I can do.
As far as the ag working on this, I do hope they are. They seem to be dropping the ball lately on these PDLS

Cannot find anything on this CA. Which leads me to believe it is not a CA, but a IPDL posing as one. I would send a DV to them just to be safe though. I am sure I will receive a letter soon too!

Kash, I saw the posts on this site about this "CA" but when I google the name or look for them under Bud Hibbs' site, I find nothing. If it was a legitimate CA, then they would have a website or something.

If you google his name, you will see his site..he has a lot of information on CAs, etc., and the abusive practices they employ. Lots of good info on there, and links to other informative sites.
