They've left me several messages to return their call toll free at 52-38-123-981-22. The numbers don't make sense for a domestic (let alone toll free) call. Then again, the caller spoke next-to-no English, so it was impossible to figure out what they were saying. ~josh

payday loan
I am a victim as well of payday loans. I have this company called me on my job and threaten to contact my supervisor about this payment. I have to pay $786 on a $380 loan. I have been paying $175 every two weeks because I am at a point, I do not know what to do. I also have a loan with Route 66 Funding and I think they are getting over on me, because they want me to pay them $686, I think that is the amount. I can hardly pay my utility bills for this. I have been so stress out over this and will never do this again. I am suppose to pay on a payday loan tomorrow in the amount of $200. He has my debit card info, but I have to call him to authorize payment. He calls from a 343 number but the number I call him back on is a 954 number that he leaves on my phone. How should I handled this?

What state are you in? What is the name of the other PDL? How much is the original principal on the Rte 66 Funding loan? How much total have you already paid?

US National Bank
I had the same type of phone call and I asked him for his address because before i paid I wanted to send them something in writing. He gave me an address but when I put the zip code in, Fed Ex said that the zip code did not exist. I called back, same day, and he gave me a different address, which I questioned him about. I sent off my federal express package for next day delivery and fed ex called and said there was no such bank in that city. I had fed ex return it to me. I called the number back and it said it was out of service. Same person called me a week later and so I called him back to tell him that fed ex said that the address he gave me was bogus and he tried to give me another one. I asked him why he didn't know his own address, was he located at the address he was giving me. I also asked why the original phone number didn't work, he said that they cancelled phones all the time. I hung up. Three days later I called the new number and the number didn't work either. I have not heard from them in over a year since this incident. He said he was going to file an affidavit, which again I questioned, stating that I had done internet fraud, etc. I work in a law office and you don't file a lawsuit with an affidavit. I told him to go file the affidavit. Like I said, I haven't heard back from them. They are just blowing smoke and using scare tactics.

Got a call from these jokers today. 213-402-0544. From India, they could barely speak English. I called them back and and harassed them for a while and hung up. Its a total scam, I will just hang up on them... and told all my co-workers to do the same.

U.S. National Bank
I received a phone call 2 days ago from this bank stating that i owed them $5,484.87. I was told that they deposited payday loans into my bank account but the dates that where given didn't add up. i was told that i would have 3 federal charges brought against me if i didn't pay this amount to the bank. I have never been in any legal trouble so how should i handle this?? Do i need an attorney?? this phone call really disturbed me considering all the payday loans i have received have been paid for or put on my credit. So what should i do???

calling my job
I have been recieving calls at work from these people saying i owe money on a paydayloan. Now i have payday loans but i am a good record keeper and know everyone i have dealt with. I have never heard of this place. He's claiming its from last year they deposted 400 in my account.Reading back my account#, social, and contacts they have all that, that is what im worried about I dont use that bank anymore since the account was closed last year. He gave me a date of the alleged deposit and there wasnt one on that date. I stopped answering calls from them and they stopped callin for about a month. Now all of a sudden they call back reading all these charges i am being hit with for a deposit to my account on a totally different date than the original one they gave me. Different name same accent different number. They keep callin my job and that needs to stop.

SCAMMERS From " US NATIONAL BANK"
I got a call just like that about two weeks ago. The man said his name was Peter Mclophlin from the department of "Law Enforcement" " Dispute Resolution". He stated that I owed $803.00 from a supposed cash advance that I received in April 2009. I then asked him where did this originate and for him to fax me something in writing. I told him that to my knowledge I don't owe anything and that is why I wanted to see who and what company I supposedly owed. He couldn't give me a straight answer and started getting alittle argumentive with me. I told him to stop calling me at work, he then stated the police was going to show up at my place of employment, because what I was doing was a "Federal offense". I told him that I needed to do my own investigation before I release any of my personal information. I also asked that why wasn't it on my credit report if this account was in "collections" and why didn't that specific company ever call me to collect the money. He still didn't give any info, the only info he did give was that the bank the I owed was U.S. National Bank. He did give a number 216-744-2041. I called it and the person answered like "Hello" ..I was like "am I calling "US National Bank..he was like uhhh yeah!! WTF!!! I'm like trying to get info from the person, no luck. They both sounded middle eastern and both with American names. This sounded fishy to me. So I called my local Sherrif dep. He told me not to give them any of my personal info. because they sounded like a fraud or a scam. These people buy your information from the internet and since they have your information, they try to intimidate you, to get you to pay them. Don't do it..it's a scam. They almost got me for a moment, but I looked through all of my doc's, luckely I keep everything. Don't call them anymore they are not supposed to harrass you at all. He finally called me one last time and I just told him to f- off and that if wanted to send the police to go right ahead and that I would see him in court, if that was even true..yeah right. I also told that I had talked to my local sherrif dep and that he was being recorded. He stopped calling since then.
