the bank wouldnt refund the money back because on my statement the withdrawl says its from paymybills(dot)com......the guy was suppose to call me back two fridays ago with the correct information but never did...but i bet he will call on the 27th for more money and guess what he isnt going to get any....i didnt give him my bank information just used my bank card which i cancelled the next day after finding out that it was a scam...since he cant validate the debt than im not obligated to pay anything..he already got 300 bucks from me and when he does or if does call back im telling him whatever that debt is consider it paid in full...

If they are illegal, then the bank should be able to help you. You can dispute it. File complaints with the BBB, AG & FTC and use these to show the bank that you have been wronged. If the bank won't help you, file a complaint against them!

I had a couple of jerks call me the last couple of days and make the same threats. They say it is over a payday loan from Quick Payday for 2005. In 2002 and 2003 I got several payday loans and had trouble paying them, but I worked out payments will all the accounts and paid them what I said I would. So how in 2008 is Leo Walters and Keith Parker from a collection company in Miami (954-678-9724) & Ft. Lauderdale (same number) calling me a saying it is a debt from 2005. Neither would give me the name of their company and I told both I was recording the call, which I did. The second guy left a voicemail when I hung up on him and wished me luck and said to be sure to drive home carefully!!!

I still have the vociemail. I checked my records at home and found that I had paid Quick Payday in full. How do they get names to contact? This debt was back in 2003.

These idiots are still at it. I get a call every now and then about a loan I had in 2005 that was discharged in bankruptcy in 2006. I just have fun with them whenever they call...I love it when they try to use big words. The best is when they try to use banking terms, not knowing I work at one.
