Hello,
Has anyone ever dealt with this company ? I put a hard debit block on my account and of course their payment bounced back to them. I sent them a letter revoking everything since they were illegal and I had already overpaid the loan. Does I-Collect as a 3rd party collection agency have any ground to stand on ?
I live in Louisiana by the way.

I Collect will forward your account to some evil debt collector who will no doubt threaten you for the money (this has happened to me twice.) Stand your ground and file with the AG's office if you need to. That's what I did and the AG sent me a letter saying my account was paid in full. Don't give them another penny.

Have to agree with littlepuddin here. If you like, go to the search box in the top right hand corner of your screen and type I Collect in. You will read all kinds of posts where people have dealt with them and they use all sorts of illegal collection tactics.
