I took out a loan with oneclickcash for 600, paid 180 in 'fees', found out they are illegal, sent off all of the letters, etc. These people keep calling my cell, not leaving a message, calling me at work where I have no choice but to answer the call. This is a daily event, how do I stop the calls? I have told them, I know that they are not legal in my state, and also that they are in violation of a cease and desist letter. They have threatened to call my employer, release personal information, etc. The last couple times they have called I have just hung up the phone. I am half tempted to transfer their call the the local police cyber crimes unit.

If anyone here has gone thru a similiar situation, I would love to know how you handled it and what the outcome was.

Thank you in advance

Just pay back the principal amount and ask them to not call you again. If they harass you even after paying back the principal amount, then file a complaint against them to FTC or SAG.

I too agree with ditchdebt. You are required to payback them only the principal amount, since they are illegal in your state. File a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC. You will be happy to know that illegal lenders won’t be able to take any legal action against you. Close your bank account asap to stop unauthorized withdrawal.
