I've used their services before. They are licensed in a number of states. I was happy with their service. At least there was a number to reach them at and they aren't offshore.

I would close the account and open a new one. They are going to continue to take out money unless you do. The $75 is just a fee and there is nothing coming off the balance.

They were charging me $119.00 every two weeks, and had been since early October for a $300.00 loan. I finally ended up closing my account because they give no pay off date and no list of charges. And then this morning I receive this:

Dear ;

Your loan of 690 is due on Friday, January 9, 2009. Please call our office toll free at 888.276.2928.

If you would like to pay your LOAN IN FULL or EXTEND your Loan, or INCREASE your LOAN AMOUNT please contact us as soon as possible. Our business office hours are from 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time Monday to Friday. IT'S IMPORTANT THAT YOU CALL US.

Thank you,
VIP Cash
888.276.2928

Note, they don't even list my name after Dear. Charging over $1,000.00 for a $300.00 loan is ridiculous.

Speaking for myself, I sent them a letter that prohibited them or anyone associated with them from contacting me at work or at home, otherwise they'd be sued. I received a PIF (Paid In Full) letter from them the next day. I had paid well above what was borrowed and got some really good advice on this board.

i have settled with them, well i actually kinda scared them off but they are not legal in my state and i paid them more than i owed so i consider them done. if you know they are not legal where you live i do not think they will send you to collections.

888.276.2928 This number works for me but I do find it ridiculous that they automatically take $120 out of my account even though I have made payment arrangements twice in the past to pay down my principal balance. I find that you have to call the day that the payment is actually pending to your account to successfully paydown your balance, any sooner or later you will just be continuing the cycle of paying the fees every pay cycle. If you call in advance they will not comply and if you call after payment is posted then they will tell you its too late and to call back before the next pay cycle.

Hope this helps someone.
