rgardner, it's okay! Don't freak out! Your pdl isn't even licensed. Do not freak out! You're going to get emails/calls from your pdl's with all kinds of crap. They'll threaten you, they'll lie to you, blah, blah. Bottom line, do not freak out. Don't respond to their email. Stick to your original game plan. Take care of your store front pdl's FIRST. They are licensed and legal. First priority. Then, ignoring the stupid emails from the internet pdl's, you can start writing them all letters stating the law, what you paid, etc.... You know the drill. You can also begin filing complaints against the internet pdl's. However, right now, you're on the right track. Just because you got an email from them, they're not waiting to jump on you. That's their routine. Send out an email trying to scare the crap out of everyone. Don't worry about it. Calm down and stick with your original plan. Just make sure, though, that you do a letter revoking all debit authorization privilidges and wage assignments that you may have signed. Honestly, some of these people claim they will garnish your wages, but they can not actually garnish your wages without a court order. An illegal pdl is not going to get a court order to garnish your wages. Okay? Please don't freak. It's okay. If you have any more questions, please post. Be calm. Ignore the email for now. Let it sit. I'll still be there. Believe me.
