Westbury Ventrues had emailed me stating that they would use my social secury number to find out what banking institution and my bank account number I now have and automatically debit my account. Can they do this??

I don't think so, I think that's just another one of their scare tactics. They emailed me saying that too almost 3 weeks ago and thus far nothing. Hopefully someone will be along soon that can give a definate answer!

No, but if you check into the check recovery they say they go by there, there is such a place if you do a search on the internet. Just to be on the safe side you might consider 1 of 2 things #1 closing your account. #2. Putting a hard debit hold on your account through your bank.

I have heard that this has happened to people, that is why I say close your account and open a new one at a totally different bank. If you have anyother questions please ask. Most of the time they are just blowing hot air, but you never know.
