Help. I have an unpaid loan with paydayloanyes. It went to a collection agency than got a letter from an attorneys office. called them,told it was recalled than got call from another "attorney's office" Told me i will be prosecuted for writing a bad check in ca and go to jail. Won't agree to my payment arrgts. basically hung up on me. told them i am on ss disability. what do i do

I haven't delt with this company but I know there have been lots here who have. So just hang on, someone will be along soon with some info for you on what to do.

I NEVER GOT WHAT STATE YOU ARE IN.CHECK WITH GOUDAH. THEY GOT SLAMMED IN ILL FOR THERE TACTICS.SEND A DV AND C&D LETTER.THEN FILE A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR STATE AG.DEPENDING ON THE STATE YOUR IN THEY CAN'T PROSECUTE FOR A BAD CHECK.IT PAINS ME WHEN A PDL GETS THE HAMMER PUY DOWN ON THEM,BUT THEY NEVER LEARN.JUST SAD.

Hi - i borrowed $350.oo from I'm guessing paydayloan yes - when it was 1st deposited into my account it
was deposited under the name Cashnet and the 1st couple electronic payments came out under cashnet,
now it seems as if it is coming out under the name
payday loan yes
I live in Pennsylvania,
borrowed 350 - paid back about 850., how do i know if
they are legal and what laws i go by and how much i should have paid back
also have loans with world wide cash and
borrowed 200 paid 623.
fastcash/pydytwo borrowed 300 paid 590

In PA if a pdl is licensed anywhere they are legal in PA

No you do nit go by the laws of the bahamas. They are not licensed in this country, so they are not legal to lend in PA. Yes you have well overpaid. You need to close your checking account asap so they will not be able to steal any more of your money.there is a sticky at the top of the pay day loan forum . please read it to be sure that closing your account is ok to do.

Until you close your checking account i would not reccommend calling these people. They will go in and take everything,You can do a search in the above box .I am sure the addresses are there

yes, i'm reading the information on closing my account and checking with my bank on what to do
so then i just send out letters, e-mails, faxes, whatever to let them know i'm not dealing with this stuff anymore and if i calculate it correct, i can even be due a refund
