I sat down this weekend and figured out how bad the situation really is. Need I say I became quit ill!! I thought that I owed between my store front and internet lenders about $8000, it came to $12000. I have read on several posting of Langhorne Debt Services and thought I would get info. They are saying to close my account, I know that I must do this to gain my control, and not to mention my sanity back. I am worried about my store front loans. I am in Wyoming by the way. I have talked to my friendly Advance America manager, who says that I should close the account, wait for default, then make arrangements with the store front loans. Need advice, as I really do not look good in Orange and am quit scared of small spaces! I can, change my store front loans to my joint account and pay down as I can, but will the internet loans screw up my chance of writing checks?

i can't offer too much advice as i also need all the help i can get but i can say that its gonna be ok. i really do think the only way to stop this maddness is by closing - or putting a hard block - on your account. that was the hardest part for me, to be honest.. closing the account. like i said, i can't really offer too much advice but it will be okay.

Ginurse, you are going to be just fine. We won't stand for anything less--and you will feel so much better with that monkey off your back!
What amazed me in my PDL days was going to a storefront one Saturday and seeing one of my hospital's nurse managers in line!! I don't know who was more embarrassed...
But like I said before, you are going to have to play hardball with the offshores, and we can help. Take care!

Well I did it! I closed my checking account, gave my letter of revoking my wage assignment to my office manager and faxed and mailed my letter to Cash Transfer Centers. I am going to start working with Langhorne. My first payday loan will try to debit Friday. It is w/Cash Net. I also spoke with my store front lenders. They will work with me.

I am happy that you got to close your bank account. I do not think that anybody looks good in orange (lol). Are your payday loans storefronts or internet? Also, are payday loans legal in your state? If they are, pay the legal ones first then pay the other ones the orginial amount that you have borrowed. Also, send e-mail to the payday companies letting them know that they are no longer authorized to debit your account.

I have both internet and storefront. I am going to go thru Langhorne Debt Settlement to settle the internet loans. I have made arrangements with the storefronts.

Hi ginurse--can I ask how you made payment arrangements to your storefront loans? Did you talk to them before closing your account, or did you just wait until they called you to advise the check bounced?

DO Not pay more than you initially borrowed from those internet loans. They will take and take.

If the loans are legal in her state , she needs to pay what ever the legal rate is.
