I sent the first letter to Malta Financial services. I am not sure if they will help but this is what I wrote. The 2nd letter was sent to Northway Financial ZIP19 and Malta Financial Service complaint dept. Just give you some background on this loan. I filed a complaint with the bbb.org regarding this loan and their response was that they did not have to abide by the laws of Maryland and that they operated under the laws in Canada.
Are you aware that you are dealing with a payday loan company called Zip19 who are processing loans illegally in the United States. They are not licensed to do business here. They have stated that they are not obligated to follow the laws in the state of Maryland. Why is this? I have contacted the BBB.org and my Attorney General Office regarding this matter. They have received a cease & desist letter from the Attorney Generals office here and they keep changing their name so that they can keep doing illegal business here. I have contacted the Federal Trade Commission regarding this as well. Your organization needs to do something about this illegal activity. I am sure that you are aware that ZIP19 is working with Northway Financial.

Attention Zip19, Cash transfers, Northway Financial
Thank you for responding to the Better Business Bureau complaint that I sent regarding account# -------. I have forwarded this information to the Attorneys General Office. They have advised me again that this loan is considered void due to the fact you are not licensed here in Maryland and you are operating here illegally. Please visit The Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation website for the Cease and Desist letter that they sent to you

The only person you will be contacting from now on regarding this loan is Suzanne Elbon at (410) 230-6073 from The Department of Labor Licensing and Regulation she has no problem with speaking with you regarding this account. Also, please note that I am informing you once again that I am revoking the wage assignment letter. I have advised the payroll department regarding this matter and they are under strict orders to contact me and Suzanne Elbon.
