I have not logged in for a while for my own pesonal reasons and then I started getting emails from another site set up by people from here.. I am not looking to get in the middle of anything. this site helped me when I needed it and a someone donated points to me just because ( it was at a bad time for me but I never posted that) He was just a nice person who asked me not to tell his name... anyway I am confused as to things.. have people been kicked out of here? is this site owned by a Payday Loan Company? and has this site resolved the name calling and rudness??

Hi poptart!! I was gone during the time you ar etalking about, and don't know much about it. The only thing I read was something to do about the points. As far as the name calling and such, that has pretty much gone by the wayside. With a site this big, you are always going to have some that are rude, name calling, and other immature things. I have been on here a long time, and the site seems to be running fine. There are people just wanting to help others like they have been helped. Karen

I think things have been really good here lately . . . . There hasn't been any drama or fights, and everyone is now working together to help people fight their problems.

I couldn't say for sure, since i don't own the site, but if it was owned by a payday loan company, wouldn't they be hurting themselves? Why would they want this information getting out?

The way I see it is this:

I don't much care what the ownership of this site has going on behind the scenes. I have obtained a great deal of advice and help here, personally, and I have been able to learn enough through this site and my own research elsewhere in order to help others. I joined (and stayed) to help others.

As far as the name calling, etc....we get (bad) guests on here that show up and call us deadbeats, accuse us of being jobless, homeless, shiftless, and just about every other "-less" you can think of. That's never going to change. (Let me preface what I'm about to say by saying this is NOT a slam to any members, past or present.) However, I believe the membership of this site has shifted towards the better in that we don't call each other names, we don't post nasty things about other members by hiding behind the "guest" login, and we don't go around attacking each other for opposing viewpoints. I'm sorry if my point of view on this offends anyone - it's not intended to. I just think we got to where we were going down a very self-destructive path, and I'm glad we're off it!

This site is going 100% better than it has ever since I came here. Everyone gets along and nobody is picking fights or being rude like what previously was going on here. It has been such a nice place to be for the last few weeks and the people that are here now are really helping one another and are really caring people looking out for each other. There are GREAT people on here and nobody has been attacked lately for their opinions or viewpoints as has happened in the past. I think the site administrators have done a damn good job of getting this site cleaned up. Everything is just so much more positive than it used to be!!!!!

I agree with Sass....when I first came here, I came for help, I stayed to help others and to continue to learn. I did, unfortunately, see some of the before mentioned stuff with people complaining about each others posts and name calling which I thought was immature...and frankly bothered me simply because it got in the way of what we intended to do here. I have been a manager for more than 20 years and I can say that any time you put a large group together there will be differences in how they approach things ..that's doesn't mean it's wrong or right. As long as we are all working toward the same goals and for the common good...we are allowed to have different opinions. And I like the way we do that here...Someone looking for help gets 3 or 4 possible different outlooks on how to do something and can choose what will work for them best..and no one feels bad or put down if that person then responds that they did something you maybe wouldn't have...so what...it's the same outcome. Isn't that what families do??? Sharing....

I've never thought this site was associated with any payday lender - I've been "filled in" on what someone thought they knew about the site ownership and what it was affiliated with - I don't see why a payday lender would WANT to be associated with this site - we tell people to close their bank accounts and demand to be marked paid in full, and in some cases, request refunds....I think that would be a little counter-productive for a payday lender, don't you?

I'm just glad the site is here, and that I found it, and am able to help others by what I've learned here, and from my own experiences. I consider everyone here a friend and do not plan to leave. Smile

You know a long time ago, someone was trying to put this site down, saying they did something-don't even remember what it was now. I did some checking, talked to some people and came to my own conclusions. This board, and the people on it have always been good to me. If it wasn't for this board, i wouldn't have had the courage to take hole of my debt, stand up for myself, and become almost debt free. The people and admin., were always there to support me and guide me through the process I needed to go through, and still are. I will stay for the simple fact, I was brough up that, you always give back what was given to you. I will stay and try to help others, give them hope and help them learn their rights, so they,too, can become debt free. If I am one of the mods you are talking about contributing nothing-oh well, I only share my experience, strength and hope-if it helps one person i have done what was intended. I also learned whatever you put out and give to the world, it will come back to you-good or bad-so I think I will only try to put out good!!..Karen

Guest you are obviously from the other website our ex members started.I don't know why you would have a desire to start drama on a board that your site claims is the lowest of the low.Enjoy your new board and leave ours behind.Tell the girls I said hi. I don't see why people create such drama. If this new board belongs to those I think it does I think it's great. I wish them well as they have always been kind and generous to me. In fact I believe I was one of the people who suggested they make their own and offered to do it for them.

I don't care if this board is run by a pay day lender. I didn't have to pay to sign up. I truely didn't even need the services they help provide and I didn't sign up for t hem either.

I found this website because the company I work for is mentioned very few times on it and I was cusious to see what people had to say. I felt I could offer some advice from what experience I have and maybe help a person or two.

And that's al that should really matter. Helping others.
