There was an interesting article in the July 29, 2010, Washington Post about protecting the elderly from getting caught in the PDL trap when Social Security checks, etc., are sent solely by direct deposits to their bank accounts. Don't know if this will protect the elderly or anyone from the online PDL's, though;
