I have 8 payday loans that i need help with. Ihave been reading on you site and i did close my bank account.i am hoping that these placs will work with me. I have my doubts. Who do i talk to when i call them. I will payback the money i borrowed, but i need to know how much should they get paid.
I live in pa
Here are my accounts

Welcome Ilene. In your state of PA an internet payday loan is legal as long as they are licensed in any state. Then you must follow the laws of the sate. For example...if you have a loan out that is licensed in Tx.then it would be legal and you would have to follow the Tx. laws. So...the first thing you will have to do is look up each lender, see what address they use as a home base and then check to see if they are licensed in that state.

Since you have already closed your account as soon as they try to debit and are refused they will be contacting you. When you closed your account did you make sure the bank will not let it be reopenned when the debits come through?? SORRY ABOUT THE CONFUSION, THE BANK TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD NOT GUARANTEE THE THE ACCOUNT WOULD NOT BE REOPENED, SINCE I AUTORIZED THEM TO DEBIT MY ACOUNT.
IS THERE A WEBSITE I CAN GO TO FIND OUT IF THE PDLS
ARE LICNESED OR NOT, THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP

You have the legal right to revoke any and all ACH debits coming out of your account. Your bank should know this. I will post the laws for you to bring to your bank. I believe I already gave you yjos info on another thread, but i will post it again for you.In the mean time your bank needs to put a hard block on your account so nothing can come out. I will look for the other post for you.

Ilene, a stop pay WILL NOT do any good at all. These places use a lot of different names, usually if one is stopped they put it thru under a different name or a different amount. Yiou need to either close the account so that nothing reopens it, or put a hard block on the account. a stop payment will only make mayyers worse, as you will get hit with tons of fees, once they start putting thru debits under other names and amounts.

THE ACCOUNT IS CLOSED AND A HARD BLOCK WAS PUT ON IT, BUT THAT COULD NOT GUARNATEE IT WOULD NOT BE REOPENED.

A hard block was put on. What is my next step, do i now contact these pdl or wait till they contact me.
How do i find out if these pdl are licnesed.
I live in pa and they are legal. Since i live in pa

Ilene dont worry about asking questions. Many of us have had to ask questions, lots of them to get the help we need or to understand the process. We are all here for you. Now that your account is closed you need to send the letters to the pdls telling them you revoke ach debits and that you only want to be contacted via mail or email. Also need to send a letter revoking any wage assignments. Someone here should be along to post samples of those letters for you. Hang in there!

I bank with National City, and the hard block I put on my account before I closed it prevented it from being opened back up.

has anyone ever heard of rapid cash managements. i cannot find a address from them and this loan was done over the phone. the person i talked to had a english. i need to find out if they are licnesed or not. thanks so much for everyones help

Apparently they are an illegal company. There is a lot of info on them if you do a search in the above box you will find what ever you need to know.
