rwilliams	i have already closed my checking and opened a new one. but i am at this point considering dropping out of that program and just go on my own, i just need some moral support as it is the stress is so overwhelming that it is beginning to affect my health and my marriage then i find out that we may lose our house. so somethings may have to go on the back burner for a spell.

bartlsaxey	I appreciate you comments but I must not have made myself clear. I am asking how to force a collector to prove they have ownership of the debt. This is basic contract law. If John Smith loaned me some money and I did not pay him and then John Smith sent Scott Johnson to my house to collect on the debt I would tell Scott Johnson that I did not owe him any money and to leave and not come back. So I do business with company "A" and then company "B" puts a collection on my credit report. So I send company "B" a demand to prove they have the right to collect on this debt. I am looking for some guidance on this issue. I would never just give money to a company because they say I owe them, I will require them to prove it. If I went in front of a Judge and told him you owe me money he would say prove it. Please advise.P.S. New people do not Know what CR, DV, CA are
