The Free phone system can be used to:
1. Talk to a counselor
2. Record phone calls.
3. Do Podcast.
4. Talk to any of the 9 people who run debtcc.

How to talk to a counselor ?
Call 800-601-1579 and choose option 1

How to record phone calls ?
Call 800-601-1579 and choose option 2.
The system will then ask you for your 6 digit numeric user id. Enter that.
Then the system will ask you for a 10 digit US phone number to call. Enter that.

Once calls are recorded how do I listen to them ?
They will be available in your member area once you log in. On the left panel. The menu option is called "Phone calls"

How do i get my user id ?
Once you login, there is a option in your member area left panel called "What is my user id"?. Click on it to get your user id.

How the free calls can be useful to me ?
When you use the free calls to record a message, you can use the recordings as evidence. You may use the service to talk about and record problems you have faced with debt and collection agents for example, and then by going to "Phone calls" you can get a list of your recordings.

How to do podcast ?
Call 800-601-1579 and choose option 3

How to talk to any of the 9 people who run debtcc ?
if you know the extension number of the person you are trying to reach dial that instead of choosing the above three options.

OK, must be a senior moment however I do not see an option called "What is my user id?"

Hey, I tried to call to test the recording thing, but it just said the person at extension 8002 is not available. Is this service still available? I see all the dates of past posts are older.

Hi thatkindofday

Our customer care is available. You might have called on the weekend, that's why no one was available. Try on a weekday please.

Regards
Mike

Well, I am assuming the phone system isn't working to record calls, I just tried it and got "Mick" (I think) voice mail. When will it be working, anyone know please? Or am I doing something wrong, help!
