My resolution is to make this community stronger , and for that I will be working on:

1. Establish debtconsolidationcare in each country of this world. So the uk debtconsolidationcare will be http://uk.debtconsolidationcare.com The France debtconsolidationcare will be http://fr.debtconsolidationcare.com and so on. http://debtconsolidationcare.com will list all the countries we work in.

2. Give our community members free phone calls. Today technology allows us to have free phone calls. By taking technology directly to the community and removing the BIG BLOATED COMPANIES from the middle, I want to help our community members save money on their phone calls.

3. Get the call recording the podcast features working. We have early betas up at:
http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/record/
and http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/podcast/

4. Create a way so that our community members can talk to each other on Instant messenger. More bonding

5. The blog world doesnt know about our community. Start to write my blog and make atleast 52 blog posts in 2006 and create on blog relationships with other bloggers. "Invite only" blogs can be created by active community members.

6. Make the group chat feature of our community finally work. By removing the requirement to log in and also make it html chat to remove the loading time. Also write a program to make the chat content available in the pub section everyday.

7. Choose "DebtCC amabassadors" Send them $200 each month to do community outreach in their community and post the videos in the pub.

8. Write a program so that each topic in our forum can be subscribed as a RSS feed. So you can read the topics that interest you right from your desktop even without needing to visit the website.

9. Release the source code of the debt care calculators to the community and also better organize the code release of Desktop DebtCC by using subversion and trac. Also finally involve the community in creating a better Desktop DebtCC

10. Create a way for DebtCC community members to be able to upload files when they are posting something in the forums. They should be able to upload Audio / Video / Scanned copies of the letters they have received etc.

11. Make sure that the total count of DebtCC points earned does not decrease since it denotes seniority in the forums.

12. Improve the editor that we use to post in this forum. Make it easy enough so my Mom can use it.

I will post below this topic as I get each of the resolutions done. This will keep me motivated. The public pressure will also stop me from lacking off.

All these resolutions for 2006 came from direct feedback from our community members. So thank you all. :P I will also rename "Feedback" at the bottom of every page to say "Help us improve". That way I will have a even bigger list for 2007 :!:

So welcome 2006 to our lives

Holy Moly Vikas...that is a lot of stuff. I think my resolution is going to have a better budget so I can start to save some money and not WASTE money; also excersise more & eat healthier; and just try to get through this depressing winter. I hate getting out of work and it being pitch black out and cold. ugh. I think ultimately my new years resolution is to try and better myself in every way.

That's great Vikas. I know you'll definitely succeed; my wishes are always with you

I would like to rectify all my mistakes in this New Year and will be maintaining a tight budget so that I can do some savings for my kids. That's all on my part.

Stay in my consolidation program. Learn to let go of "stuff" that is clogging my home and life. Start a savings account.

Apply the following statement to my life: Saving money (like buying on sale, using coupons, just careful money management) is better than earning additional money - you don't have to pay taxes on it. - my mother
