 mileigh89 | 14 Mar, 2008 08:01:29 AM Just some advice. I used Consumer Credit Counseling for the very same reason and they have completely ruined my credit. They did not submit payments on time and would never put my money where I asked when making extra payments to try and pay some creditors off. The worst thing of all is that my credit score has gone down 150 points since I started with them. I went up the chain to try and resolve these issues and even the Regional Manager was not willing to take any responsibility for their actions. DO NOT USE THEM!!!! | |

I would love to know more about your experience with CCCS, as I am really considering going with them, but I want to do all my research first. I have about $13,000 in credit card debt. I pay about $420 a month and I'm barely making any progress paying them off. Did they get your monthly payment down, and if so, by how much? | |
Sea | 27 Feb, 2008 05:13:23 AM I have used CCCS for several years now. They have been very good and do not charge a fee - at least for me as I was referred through my credit union. They have worked with my creditors and I will have paid off my $25000 cc debt within a five year period. They always get back to me quickly and are very supportive. | |
