Hi guys,

I just wanted to write and say I won't be around that much over the next few weeks or so. My mom was recently diagnosed with cancer so that will be my primary concern right now. It hasn't spread but we are still waiting to hear back from the second biopsy to see which type of cancer she actually has. It doesn't seem like it's spread which we were happy to here. I'm going to take some time off of work when she is going through her chemo/radiotion treatment. Right now this has to be my priority so please keep us in your prayers. Smile

Hey Michelle sorry to hear about your Mom. I hope your Mom will be ok. I know the chemo/radiation treatments are bad. My sister-in-law has pancreatic cancer and is going through chemo. and my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in May. I did the National Koman race for the cure for her and my aunt who passed away of breast cancer. My sister is going through 5 days of radiation. I will k eep your Mom in my prayers. Karen

Thanks for the replies and well-wishes. The cancer insititute is wating on the first biopsy results from the original hospital where the colonsocopy was performed. This has been going on for nearly two weeks. For good reason, it is driving my mom nuts. She just wants to find out what her course of treatment will be and get on with it. She called both places on Friday but no return phone calls back yet. I'm hoping we hear something Monday or Tuesday Smile

Mishele---I will continue to pray for you and your mom---I don't think there is anything worse than waiiting especially for something like this. Try and just keep doing normal activities or try doing something out of the ordinary to keep your mind off this even momentarily.

Thanks everyone for the continued support. I hope my mom hears something soon because she just wants to get it over and done with. Now we are starting to think it's worse than they orignally said but we are trying to stay positive. Smile
