I called my mom today to tell her she was a grandma again and she went crazy. She asked me, what was I trying to do, make her hair go all grey? I said that was the mission. Anyways, she started asking me when I was due and all that good stuff. I started laughing and finally told her that she was a grandma to a new black lab puppy. She said if she was closer, she would come over and kick my butt. We play jokes on each other all the time, and I got her good this time, but she will get even. I am waiting patiently for the revenge. Very Happy

The year and 1/2 old lab is Brownie, so the kids decided to name the puppy Cupcake. Your blog is where I got the idea to about telling mom is was a grandma again.

LOL, Sue..I feel the same way about my mom! I hope my son doesn't ever say that about me..I try to be the "hip" mom in the neighborhood, seems to go over pretty well with the 7-and-8-year-old crowd...My husband gets to play the bad guy!
