I received notification that the plaintiff, a store front PDL, filed a dismissal on the suit that they had brought against me. The judge signed it...Case Dismissed!
For my personal life this is a victory. For my aspirations of setting a precedent in my state, it is not a victory. Ah well, maybe next time!

Good news for you. Does this mean they won't do anything else on it at all and basically just write off the balance?

Yes. She's no longer legally responsible for the debt.
