I'd like an avatar to go with my name but can't figure out how to do it (okay, I type on the computer for a living - I'm a medical transcriptionist) but other than that, I'm pretty computer illiterate. When I bring up the Avatar under my profile, it shows x's when I right click on my mouse and go to "show picture," nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

You have to download a picture to your file. I didn't know what an avatar was either. I googled it and found a site that had several hundreds of free avatars. Just find one you like then save it and then come back and then click browse you should be able to do one then.

Keep the size of the avatar within the specified pixels. Search for free avatars in google/yahoo. Most of them have a standard size of this forum.
