Just a thought

I couldn't stop posting here. The regular members and few guests are now becoming very good financial advisors. It's hard to believe for a moment that such people went through debt problems. They say, people learn from experiences and correct by rectifying their mistakes in the past. So true.. Well, can debt counseling be a second job? Just thought for a moment.

I have learned alot from members on this site. Even though I have been working through my debt problems thanks to you guys, I couldn't stay away, I feel like you guys were here for me, and now that I have the knowledge to help myself I should do for others what was done for me. I have gained control again and I'm sleeping so much better at night.(I'm also not afraid of those threatening calls anymore)

How funny! I was thinking along the same lines. I have my BS in Philosophy, and I've worked in HR for 6 yrs. I have had extensive training in so much financial stuff in those years..Lately I have been wanting to go back to school and get CPA'd.

I must say you both are becoming the most helpful people around. Fins, I read one guest who gave you the compliment today when he read several of your posts.

Steelers, you are becoming so strong in your posts. I can't believe that you were having problems with debts when you joined here in the beginning. Because I remember answering to a few of your posts sometime back. Your posts are awesome. You will be missed if you don't log in the forums for one day.

Fins, your knowledge on wage garnishment is helping so many. It is more like a professional counseling rather than just an advice..

Thanks Passion, I remember your help and fins help. This site is so awesome, my only regret is that I didn't find it along time ago! Fins you need to have a blog and put your garnishment knowledge on it. Alot of people would benefit, I see alot of posts everyday about this topic. You give all the right answers.

Thanks Steelers..I know. I have considered that so many times. One time I tried to set up a blog, but I couldn't figure out the adsense. I'm kinda computer dumb!

I'm glad I can contribute. I don't know much about state laws for collection, or SOLs..But I file garnishments daily (almost) and if I didn't know my stuff I'd have some problems!!!

And Steelers..Your PDL knowledge is amazing. I've learned a lot from you.

so let's say, if posts come on payday loans, we will say - go to polly's blog.

if it is on garnishment, we will say go to fins blog. Smile

Amy, what do you want to specialize in. You have a talent. You should pick one for you in which no one can beat you. Start a blog and make your voice heard. Smile

This site gave me the push to do alot of research and with the help of kyside38 (who has alot of knowledge on how to deal with these crooks, she needs to teach a class) I've learned alot about them and how to deal with them. I just can not believe how many dbas they have. Kyside knows just about every single one of the dbas and if you post an obscure pdl I bet she can answer who they are in a second.

Fins, is that the only reason you don't have a blog yet? Send a PM to Denny now and he will arrange everything for you. It's very simple. trust me Smile Steelers, you should also PM Denny for one. Ok..

Passions, I think I could do one on how to be a self advocate and how to be assertive with tact and get results. This may not have anything to do with debts but I know an awful lot about laws pertaining to the disabled and their rights, who to go to when they are violated etc....I would need help to set up a blog as well.

Passion, don't dis count yourself on this either. You have been a great source of help and support to others, too! I was debt-stupid until I came here and gained some knowledge about this. That's why I continue to stay here,I still have some problems, not as big as when I came, and not as scared! I want to give others the same help and support I got when I got here!...KAren

I think you are all doing a great job. It's nice to see people stepping up to the plate. I know I used to be around more, especially where pdl's where concerned, but I'm learning so much more from all of you. Keep up the good work! Cool
