I looked them up in the basement and found this information out about them they purchase portfolios (what ever that means) from credit people and companies here in the USA or over across the pond so because they are the new "owner's of the debt their iformation appears on the CR. Here is the contact information for the company that i got off their website and pasted here for your information. Good luck

LVNV funding is a collection agency. You need to call them and get the debt info they are collecting for. You must be sure about everything given to you before making a payment. Go through this link below for others who have been dealing with them.

Amanda- have a look at this at http://www.yesdebtfree.org/collection-agencies/guide.html it tells you about LVNV and other strategies on dealing with collection agencies. I have dealt with them, and you don't want to talk to them in a phone call. They are rude, break fdcpa regulaions, etc. If you have to validate a debt, also send them a cease and desist letter that all communication be done through the mail. Good Luck...Karen
